Who Qualifies?
Players can qualify for the National Championships in a number of ways.
Regional Ranking - The Top 1% of Regional Ranked Players will automatically advance to Nationals. We always round up, so if ther are 401 players ranked in your region, the Top 5 will advance automatically.
Regional/State Championship Events - The # of National qualifiers through the Regional Championship Events varies depending on the # of participating taverns in that region. However at a Single Regional (approximately 120 players), the Top 10 will qualify for the National Championship! Click here to learn more about Regional Championships
Cumulative Points Leaders - The Top 30 cumulative points leaders (based on the Power Rankings Leader Board) automatically qualify for National Championships.

10 Wins - Capture 10 wins at any bars in a season and you will automatically qualify for Nationals! Click here to view the Most Wins Leader board
Smaller Markets The break down for smaller markets is as follows.
1 Tavern = In a market in which there are no Regional/State Championships within a reasonable distance, the Tavern Champion receives a seat in the National Championship
2-3 Taverns = In a 2-3 bar market where they hold their own Regional Championship, the Top 2 finishers receive seats in the National Championship
4 Taverns = In markets with 4 bars where they hold their own Regional Championship, the Top 3 finishers receive seats in the National Championship
National Championships are not only a great way to test your skill against some of the best players in the league, it’s also a great way to win a seat to a World Series of Poker event!
IF YOU QUALIFY FOR THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, YOU HAVE APPROXIMATELY A 1 IN 20 CHANCE OF PLAYING IN A WSOP EVENT!*
