The Travel

Air Fare - Get your plane tickets now!  We have checked the rates from most of the major airports in our region and tickets are still under $300 round trip!  AND IN MOST CASES IT IS CHEAPER TO FLY IN ON SATURDAY.

So come in early (TOC qualifiers need to be there on Saturday) and get an extra day of poker and partying for your vacation.

The Poker

There will be 12 private championship tournaments ranging from $50-$200 buy ins!  That's an estimated $125,000 in prize pools over the course of the event! How much of that $ will you be taking home?

So what type of tournaments?  Here is just an example of some of the Championship Events

      Speed Poker Championship - You only have 5 seconds to act in this high pace game!

      Women's No Limit Championship - Ladies only!

      Omaha Championship - Looking for a change from Hold ‘Em, here's your chance to prove your skills.

      Gladiator Tournament - Every player will receive an envelope with prizes ranging from “Sorry, play again” to $300 in cash!  Plus other SWAG, buy ins to tournaments and other great prizes. Knock out a player and you get what is in their envelope. Over $1,000 in bonus prizes will be given away at this event. Prepare to have the Romans coming after you!

      Tag Team Poker - Our most popular tournament where you and your partner will constantly exchange seats at the table! 

      No Limit Hold ‘Em - And of course plenty of regular hold ‘em championship events.

This year we are inviting our friends from the Free Poker Network League to join us and we will be having an inter-league Championship event with an additional $2,000 WSOP seat added on for the winner plus $500 in travel!  Represent your bar poker league well!

This year's theme is Let The Games Begin where we start out in Rome with a full blown TOGA , TOGA, TOGA PARTY!  Come dressed in your best Toga Outfit and you could win some great prizes!

We then head to the Halloween Closing Ceremonies where it's a full blown Halloween party with a “sports” theme.  Come dressed as your favorite sport, athlete, announcer, coach, etc…!  Even more prizes for the best costumes.

The Prizes

We give out thousands of dollars in prizes during these events for competing in all kinds of games including the chance to play Mike Matsinger, founder of WTP, heads up for a $1,000 WSOP seat! 

The first 100 players to purchase their badge will compete for this heads up chance…And remember, last year the first 100 badges sold out in the first 9 minutes!  So be ready when tickets go on sale!

The People

Above all, what makes these events so awesome is the people.  You'll get to hang out with bar poker players from all over the world.  Last year we had over 600 players from 27 different states including 30 players from Alaska!  This we are expecting over 750!

Can anyone go?

Absolutely!

If I buy my ticket/badge, then win one at Regionals, can I get a refund?

Yes!  But refunds are only given to those who have purchased a badge and then won one.

Do I need to buy a ticket/badge if I just want to play in the tournaments?

Yes.  This is a private event so only badge holders will be able to buy into the tournaments.

What is the difference in the Party Badge and the Poker Badge?

The Party Badge gets you into everything including the 2 parties.  These parties include free drinks, great prizes, food and hilarious entertainment.  The Poker Badge gets you your welcome pack plus access to all of the private tournaments.

Do I need a badge to play in any of the National Championship Events? (Winter Nationals, Spring Nationals, Tournament of Champions)

No, if you have qualified for these events, you can play in them without a badge.  You will however need a badge to play in any of the other events or attend the parties.

If I buy a badge, can I play in the National Championship Events?

Sorry, but these events are for qualified players only.

Can I stay at another hotel?

Certainly…but you will miss out on so much of the fun, plus the cost of cab rides to The Orleans.  And at these rates…you can't beat it.
