The Format

      The 1^st WTP Online Championship will be an 8 week session with 15 online events starting on July 28^th

with the Championship Event taking place on Saturday September 20th. 

The full schedule is listed below.

      Each event is only $3 (+.30) to enter

      Events are open to any registered World Tavern Poker Player that has a World Tavern Poker Affiliated account with BetUS.COM. 

      Each event is password protected.  On the day of the event, the password will be posted on the Online Poker tab after you log into the WTP website.

      You can play in as many events as you would like, however you must play in a minimum of 4 tournaments to receive a National Online Ranking.

      At the end of the session, the Top 30% of the ranked players will qualify for the Championship Event.  So if 100 players are ranked, then the Top 30 players would qualify for the Championship Event.

The Points/Rankings

      The point system will be identical as the standard WTP point system.  The more players, the higher the points.  Click here to see the point system.

      The average of your Top 4 scores will be used to determine your Online Ranking.

      Results and Rankings will be posted each week on this page.

The Prizes

Each week, the top players in each tournament will share in the total prize pool (based on the # of entries).

At the end of the 8 week session, the Top 30% of ranked players will be invited to the Online Championship Event with the following prizes*

1^st Place - Complete Las Vegas Travel Package

      3 Nights hotel at the Orleans Resort (Oct 26-29)

      Plus $300 in Air Fare Travel Money!

      Seat into the Spring WTP National Championship on Oct. 27^th

2^nd Place - World Tavern Poker Open Hotel Package
